Do not be mislead though, this is a pretty straight forward button-masher, but sometimes that is what the doctor wrote a prescription for. The graphics are decent, the sound is good, and the gameplay is reasonable. Pros: This is a pretty fun game, in my opinion. Do not worry about getting lost as game is petty linear. I have not finished the game yet, but based on what I've read you are wise to play first time through as an Elf and make sure you read a walkthrough not for spoilers, but to understand how best to play the game. But to hack and slash spelunkers, they will love the game. Overall Review: For a DND purist, they will only be amused. ALSO, as mentioned in the other review you cannot unlock all secrets first time through, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THE MANUAL TOLD ME THAT! The manual SUCKS I kept changing characters because I did not think the game was upgrading them, only to read in a walk through the AI upgrades automatically, including equipment, and it is best NOT to mess with them. Like to see some better spells for the Mage and better looking spells boring. Voice acting is so bad is funny, I hope it is what they were going for, but I do not think so. However, you cannot do co-op in dragon age which was the games fatal flaw because people who like RPGs like to play with others (real people)Ĭons: Fights are fun, but you always feel one swing behind what the character is doing when it gets crazy. The game reminds me of Dragon Age, but a little more arcadish. What he left out and why I gave it 4 stars is the co-op play, which is excellent. Pros: First, I fully agree with "samgamgee"'s review so will not repeat what he said but add to it.
